Production Update

We have filmed all the footage we believe we need now and are focused heavily on editing. We are using Final Cut Pro well and with ease now, and are currently trying out different filters and effects to make our trailer as effective as possible. As we've gathered house of footage and refilmed some scenes, it is important to watch them all and see which is the most effective.

First Draft - Magazine Cover

This is my magazine cover, which I have completed the first draft of. I need to change the bullet on the front as it offers little information, and also add more information on the main story. My class have offered me feedback, in which they suggested manipulating the photo further to make it clear it is a horror film, however said the stylised approach worked okay because this is a magazine, which often focuses on the star rather than the film itself.

First Draft - Poster

This is the first draft of my poster. It is obviously incomplete, as I have to add a credit block and a tag line or review at the top of the page. This is an issue because of licensing at our school, and getting a realistic font is difficult. I have also showed this to people in my class and received feedback on my basic idea. People liked the layout, however said it lacked any fearful image which is typical of a film poster, so this is something I will change with the image in the background, by either taking a new one or manipulating this one.
